Enchanted Wedding at Chantilly Castle
Chantilly–Imagine being able to have a gourmet banquet inside the second greatest museum in France after the Louvre. That’s exactly what Ooh lala! France Wedding Planner arranged for Grace and Francis, a handsome and well-traveled couple from New York City last May. This was just one of the many high points of the most beautiful wedding we have ever organized since our founding in 2008.
Gathering together their closest friends and family, Francis and Grace celebrated their love at Chantilly Castle–an hour outside Paris–and have the photos and video to prove it was one truly spectacular affair. A vision of pink and white, the wedding ceremony was filled with laughter, joy and music–including their own personal singer belting out Hallelujah as the bride came down the white-carpeted, rose decorated bridge. No one thought we could pull it off–since it was hailing in Paris. Yet blue skies held for this lucky couple until the cocktail hour in the outdoor formal garden. But even a mild sun shower was not going to spoil the festivities.
Dinner soon followed with a splendid wedding cake, chocolate dessert, and two macaron towers, as well as a great night of disco dancing in the castle’s medieval kitchen. We know that the Louis XIV once visited Chantilly–but we also believe that Grace and Francis had a much better time than this powerful king–who also was a pretty good dancer. He unfortunately had to marry in St. Jean de Luz in the Southwest part of France, and had to record the event in a modest house that was by no means a castle! It’s nice to know that we can give our bridal couples the truly royal treatment and record this joyous event with spectacular photography and videography.
